Sue Deakin joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in 1989 as the Director of Volunteer Services. Since that time she has served as the Director of Public Relations, Director of Communications and currently is the Senior Director of Community Affairs. Ms. Deakin oversees public relations, media relations, community outreach and marketing for the organization. Prior to joining Hospice, she taught mathematics to high school and adult students. Ms. Deakin earned her Bachelors of Science degree in mathematics from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and a Masters of Science degree in adult and continuing education from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.
