Cindy DeSilva joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in 2001 as Accounting Clerk. One year later, she assumed the role of Lead Data Entry Clerk to streamline the data entry process and improve the maintenance of donor information. In 2004, she was promoted to Donor Relations Coordinator. While overseeing the gift process, she made an effort to cultivate existing donors and create new fundraising opportunities. Mrs. DeSilva was promoted to Manager of Annual Programs and, ultimately, to Director of Annual Programs. In her current role, she is responsible for the creation, implementation and evaluation of expanded annual, memorial and donor recognition programs.
Prior to joining Hospice of Palm Beach County, Mrs. DeSilva was a resident of Bergen County, New Jersey where she lived with her husband and three sons. Currently, she serves as Vice President-membership on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and a member of Leadership Palm Beach County 2009.
