Regina Di Pietro joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in January 2009 as Director of Supportive Services and was promoted in 2011 to Senior Director of Patient Care. In this role, she oversees the John J. Brogan Bereavement Department, Volunteers, Sapphire Team, the Call Center, Continuous Care, Central Scheduling, as well as Music Therapy, and Integrative Therapy.
Regina brings more than ten years of hospice experience to this position. She has held numerous leadership roles and has worked in a variety of areas within the hospice field, including social work, admissions and compliance. She was previously at Hospice by the Sea for five years and, most recently, was the Director of Clinical Operations for Douglas Gardens Hospice in Miami, where she ran the entire clinical area and the marketing department.
Regina received her Master’s degree in social work from Fordham University in New York City. She has been published in Nursing Spectrum and in various local hospital newsletters. In 2008 she won the National Hospice Storybook Award from Florida Hospices and Palliative Care. Regina has also been a guest speaker at hospice conferences for the Jewish Federation of Miami, the Alliance on Aging and others.
