Kathleen Emmett joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in November 2004 as Director of Development. In this role, she was responsible for procuring major gifts while overseeing gift planning, donor relations, special events and data processing. Ms. Emmett was promoted to Vice President of Resource Development in June 2007 to manage the daily operations and related staff for Spectrum Healthcare Foundation. Prior to joining Hospice of Palm Beach County, she spent nine years coordinating fundraising programs, public relations and marketing campaigns while serving as chief development officer for various local non-profits. Ms. Emmett received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia. Currently, she serves as President-Elect for the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is an active member of the Planned Giving Council of Palm Beach County.
