Jenn Kast joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in 2000 as a business development representative. In this role she was charged with building a diverse client base and increasing a competitive market position. Her technical expertise, verbal acuity and strategic planning helped her average 122% of revenue growth from 2000 to 2002 and she was quickly promoted to Sales Manager. During this time Jenn developed and provided market analysis for Hospice of Palm Beach County’s web-based software system, Latis. In 2004, she took the role of Director of Admissions and has since increased yearly admissions from 5,250 to 6,002. Under Jenn’s leadership, the number of patients admitted has remained above the goals of the organization. She was promoted to Vice President of Access Services in May 2007 and currently oversees Admissions, Business Development, Staffing, Triage and Hospice Partners on Call™. Ms. Kast has chaired the National Hospice Workgroup Business Development Forum. She has participated as a speaker at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization Management and Leadership Conference and at the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She was voted employee of the quarter in 2005. Ms. Kast holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University.
