Judith Williams has been a part of the Hospice of Palm Beach County Team since 2002. She started as a Business Development Representative and then worked as a night staff nurse and day charge nurse in the C.W. Gerstenberg Hospice inpatient unit. Judith played an integral role in opening the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and was promoted to supervisor of that unit in July 2006. In March of 2008 she accepted the Admissions Manager position overseeing the daily intake, referral and admission process for Hospice of Palm Beach County. In April of 2009 Judith further advanced to Director of Call Center Operations where she assists the COO of Hospice Partners On Call (HPOC) in the administrative management of the Admissions Department and Call Center operations, which includes after-hours operations for HPOC, making decisions as outlined by established standards, policies and procedures and serving as a professional nurse leader. Judith also assists in providing direction, guidance and planning for both divisions, and serves as a liaison between other areas of the organization, the Call Center and its customers.
Before joining Hospice of Palm Beach County Judith worked in area hospitals in medical surgery and ICU and worked for Palm Beach Oncology, and United Healthcare and AvMed as Utilization Management Manager for Palm Beach County. Judith has been a nurse since 1978 and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Lynn University in 1996. She is also CHPN certified.
