President for Spectrum Healthcare Foundation - M-F
Provides strong leadership to Foundation employees, donors and related parties.
Creates a Board of Trustees that will enhance the ability of the Foundation to raise funds. Ensures that each member of the Board is well-informed with respect to the Board’s responsibilities and Foundation activities.
Sets the annual fundraising goals with Foundation staff and is responsible for achieving those stated goals. Goals are set with expectations they will support the larger organization (Spectrum Health, Inc.) and its affiliates.
Plans, directs and conducts fundraising activities for annual support, memorial gifts, special projects, endowments, capital campaign(s), and deferred giving.
Responsible for staffing the Foundation so that fundraising goals will be achieved. This will be done with careful assessment of return on investment.
Serves as spokesperson for the Foundation to the general public, special constituencies, potential donors and other organizations. Actively seeks opportunities to develop and maintain a high level of awareness of the Foundation throughout the community.
Attends executive meetings, board meetings, strategic planning sessions and give valuable input.
Evaluates internal and external concerns and responds to the concern in a timely manner.
Ensures that staff counseling and discipline is appropriate.
Ensures timeliness of performance appraisals and reviews for any employee needing improvement.

Data Entry Specialist - M-F; 8:00A-4:30P
Responsible for performing clerical and computer data input duties for the maintenance of donor and patient/family information.
In donor database program, posts donations, prepares edit list for balance to batch totals and generates journal reports.
Researches Hospice of Palm Beach County patient and patient family information and enters into database program.
Prepares and balances donation batches for processing.
Researches and adds donor, memorial/tribute, and notification information in the database program.
Using database program and appropriate word processing software, creates merge files for donor acknowledgements and memorial/tribute notifications.
Prepares labels, envelopes, and letters for special mailings and ensures mailings are sent in a timely manner.
Assists department in implementing new giving opportunities, fundraising events and community awareness, and attends events as needed.
Researches and responds to donor inquiries.
Prepares reports and documentation as required.
Performs other duties as required and conforms with and abides by all policies and procedures. High school diploma required with some college preferred.
A minimum of one year of data entry and word processing, preferably using a donor software program such as Raiser’s Edge. Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel with knowledge of donor software. Provides respiratory services to patients utilizing oxygen systems, bi-pap, cpap, ventilators and other hi-tech equipment. Picks up invoices and prepares equipment check on products to be delivered. Ensures proper delivery pick up address and correct services rendered. Responsible for final check on all equipment being delivered. Verifies that all equipment/products in staging area is completed and listed on invoice. Verifies that all products being delivered are in good working order, clean, adjusted and operating properly. Operational Controller - The Medical Store - Fulltime
This person will provide effective and efficient financial control over the TMS accounts and insure the safeguarding of assets in accordance with Board approved policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles and practices, in order that the strategic and financial objectives of the organization are attained. Supervise the business activities of TMS and assist the VP Operations to manage personnel, investment in inventory, maintain regulatory compliance and control operating costs.
The TMS Controller is responsible for maintenance of established accounting systems; supervision of staff; reports to management; establishing procedures for effective asset management; preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements; maintaining records of regulatory compliance and operational reviews. Supervises and oversees the Customer Service and other administrative staff; provides direction and training; and conducts performance evaluations.
Responsible for maintenance of established accounting systems, including general ledger, billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory/purchasing; monitors the systems to ensure accuracy of transactions, coding and authorizations and recommends necessary modifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent. Three to five years experience in management accounting. Supervisory experience including training and evaluation of Accounting staff in the areas of general ledger, billing, accounts payable and payroll.
