Provides computer support, data entry, and auxiliary support to the Patient Care Supervisor. Coordinates outgoing and incoming team correspondence.
Tracks admissions, deaths, discharges, and transfers activities on the team. Orders office supplies and medical equipment, and maintains an inventory control of these supplies. Completes accurate daily census report including change of statuses in computer and distributes to Insurance Coordinator. Assist with daily computer entry of medications; ensures new and updated medications have been correctly entered. Distributes current medication profiles to the primary nurse and in the medical record. Prepares all care plans for IDG meetings. Maintains a file of available patient care personnel for staff and patient reference. Updates patient information via computer system and medical records. Informs Patient Care Supervisor of delinquent or incomplete forms. Supervises volunteers working in the team office. Ensures all discharged medical records are complete and promptly forward to medical records.

Responsible for investigation and follow up of patient records with teams for missing items. Provides support services for HPBC physicians and teams for follow up with incomplete records. Verifies certifications and recertifications are signed and dated with appropriate signatures and present in the medical record. Ensures physician dictations are processed timely and ensures physician dictations are in the medical record.
