An Evening of Simple Thank You's: Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation Honors Donors
"Thank you" was the phrase of the day on March 21, as Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation hosted a reception to honor donors at the renowned Wally Findlay Galleries. The annual Chairmanís Reception is an invitation - only event to recognize those who generously contribute to the organization, which helped serve more than 6,500 patients and families last year.
"Sometimes a 'thank you' is the most meaningful event of all, and I think it can never be said enough," said Richard Callahan, Chairman of the Board. "Hospice is able to maintain its high quality of care because of the altruism of our donors and I consider it an honor to recognize them for their contributions."
The weather was perfect as guests enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres atop the breezy black & white terrace. The highlight of the evening was the gift presentation to Jimmy Borynack, Chairman & CEO of Wally Findlay Galleries, for hosting the reception and for the tremendous amount of support heís shown for Hospice of Palm Beach County and its mission.
"Our donors make the Hospice mission a reality," said Greg Leach, president of Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation. "We take seriously the stewardship of every dollar for our patients, so it's very meaningful to be able to thank those who made it happen."
