"I have such a sense of gratitude that no amount of giving back would ever be enough." ~ Ann Stratta
Do you enjoy helping others? Do you have a few extra hours that you would like to spend doing something worthwhile and valuable? Are you compassionate, reliable and nonjudgmental? If so, your contribution of time and talent can make a positive difference in the lives of patients, families and the community. Those wishing to assist Hospice of Palm Beach County may do so through the volunteer program. All hospice volunteers complete an intensive training program to prepare them for patient and family care services. Volunteers also may serve as board members, clerical support, fundraisers or public speakers.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you may register in person at the C.W. Gerstenberg Hospice Center located at 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 or complete the online volunteer application. For more information you may call the Volunteer Department at (561) 227-5138 or email a hospice representative at email@example.com.
