Trustbridge is a leading provider of compassionate hospice care, serving as a model for other hospice programs nationwide. Since 1978, the dedicated staff and volunteers have cared for nearly 200,000 hospice patients and their families, with an average of 1,950 patients daily.

Thank you for your interest in our Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program. Each year up to two fellows are selected. Current residents as well as mid-career physicians are eligible for the program and encouraged to apply. Although the following specialties are eligible for board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, we are currently only accepting applications from Board Certified Internists or Family Physicians:

  • Anesthesia
  • Emergency medicine
  • Family medicine
  • Internal medicine
  • Neurology
  • Obstetrics and gynecology
  • Pediatrics
  • Physical medicine and rehabilitation
  • Psychiatry
  • Radiology
  • Surgery

How to Apply

Apply through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

To submit your application, please visit the ERAS website at www.aamc.org/students/medstudents/eras/fellowship_applicants. Once all applications have been received and reviewed, applicants will be notified if an interview is granted.

Interview Process

The most competitive candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview. Candidates are evaluated based on prior training, demonstrated clinical competence, academic achievements and personal commitment to end-of-life care. Candidates will be interviewed by a quorum of the Medical Education Committee.
